From two of the best, up and coming producers in Sancerre, PIVENE presents this wonderful bundle of sublime Sancerre featuring the wines of Paul Prieur et Fils and Dominique et Janine Crochet Bundle.
The Prieurs come from a long line of wine growers and the newest member of the family to take charge of the winemaking is the dynamic Luc Prieur, who sensitively maintains a Burgundian philosophy in his wines; with a respect for individual vineyard plots, that produce cuvées based on their terroirs.
Similarly, Dominique and Janine Crochet established their estate in 1992, starting with just a few hectares of perfectly situated hillside vineyards in Bué. Their estate is relatively young but like the Prieur's, they stem from an ancient line of winemakers in the area. Today, the domaine extends over 15 hectares in more than forty tiny parcels, and is one of the leading estates in Sancerre.
