Notes of smoky reduction presently dominate the underlying fruit though it again seems ripe. More interesting are the medium-bodied flavors that possess both good energy and freshness while offering a step up in volume on the attractively textured finish that is delivers sneaky good length. This could use a bit more overall depth, but it should develop it if allowed at least a few years of bottle age.
