A 60-40 blend of Roussanne and Marsanne, respectively, the 2019 Crozes Hermitage Blanc les Marelles is a bit brassy in hue, with scents of poached pear and ripe melon. The Marsanne component is aged in wood, so there's a bit of cinnamon-clove spice as well. Medium to full-bodied, it's round and expansive in the mouth, then finishes on a note of crushed stone. I'd opt for drinking this young.
