Here there is both good freshness and marked ripeness to the aromas of black cherry, raspberry, warm earth and a background spiciness. The middle weight flavors are also relatively sleek with good refinement to the attractively textured and nicely detailed finish. Les Vignottes typically drinks well young and the supple but moderately dense tannins should permit this to be approachable after only 3 to 4 years while rewarding up to a decade of cellaring.
