The latest rendition of Henri Giraud's Blanc de Craie Brut offers up incredible aromas of citrus oil, fresh pear and linden blossom.
On the palate, the wine is medium to full-bodied, vinous and blessed with a luxurious satin-like texture. This sublime cuvée possesses a wonderfully light and delicate mousse and is packed with ripe but racy acids and an incredible saline finish.
A blend of Chardonnay from Aÿ and the Montagne de Reims, the Blanc de Craie is charming and structurally open-knit and drinks beautifully as either an aperitif or an accompaniment to fine food.
