Located in the Gironde department in Nouvelle-Aquitaine in the south west of France Saint-Émilion is a small commune with a population of just over 2,000.
A medieval city located at the crossroads of Bordeaux, Saintonge and Périgord, the town and surrounding vineyards was made a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1999, owing to its long, living history of wine-making, Romanesque churches and ruins stretching all along steep and narrow streets
What it lacks in size, it makes up for in the production of high quality wines and is home to some of the worlds finest 'Bordeaux' wines.
In this specially curated bundle, the Sommeliers of PIVENE have selected 3 expressions from 3 superstars of Saint-Émilion, who’s wines truly capture the essence of this special wine growing area.
