Smoky aromas of Granny Smith apple, mineral reduction and acacia blossom are trimmed in just enough wood to notice. There is excellent size, weight and mid-palate density to the overtly stony big-bodied flavors that deliver markedly better length on the powerful and driving finish. This is terrific and a wine that should amply repay extended keeping. This is also one to look for.
