A slightly cooler if equally somber nose reflects fruit that derives more from the red side of the fruit spectrum along with hints of earth and just enough wood in evidence to mention. Here too the mouthfeel of the medium weight flavors is succulent and generous but in this case, there is a bit more evident minerality that adds lift to the nicely detailed and ever-so-slightly firmer finale where a touch of austerity slowly emerges.
