The 2020 Barbaresco Currà is redolent of kirsch, chalk, white pepper, dried herbs and mint. Aromatic and yet deep, with terrific balance, the 2020 is very nicely done. Most importantly the 2020 does not have the hard edges that are sometimes found in wines from this site. Bright saline accents drive the persistent, deceptively understated finish. I very much like the translucent finesse here.
