The Carillon d'Angelus has a light, crushed strawberry and dried herb-scented bouquet that needs to muster more vigour. The palate is medium-bodied with quite bold tannins on the entry. Moderate depth, the acidity is well judged although the finish is rather flat footed at the moment.
