An exuberantly fresh and bright nose speaks of the essence of red pinot fruit, newly turned earth and a discreet application of wood. There is good punch and precision, if only average density, to the appealingly textured medium weight flavors that are supported by relatively fine-grained tannins on the youthfully austere and sneaky long finale.
