The 2021 Shiraz Old Vine, made with fruit from vines between 35 and 100 years of age, shows hearty concentration with a solid upfront wood smoke and cherry liquer impact against a background of ground spices. It's a riper style, with ample volume of fruit and fleshy tannins providing a supple upfront texture before stalky whole bunch influences provide a savory feel to the finish. This needs a little time to come out of its shell.
