Clearly the best, or one of the best Coteaux Champenois. Aromas of dried strawberry with bark, chalk and a hint of mushroom. Medium to full body with firm tannins and a juicy finish. Iodine, mussel shell and hints of tobacco and mineral. Then slate and graphite at the end. Excellent pinot noir. Drinkable now, but better in two or three years.
