A ripe mix of red and dark pinot fruit is cut with hints of earth, violet and a whiff of the sauvage. The supple and round medium-bodied flavors possess a caressing mouthfeel that contrasts somewhat with the moderately rustic and solidly persistent finale. This could use better depth so a few years of cellaring are recommended.
