Like the Cellier, the wood treatment is generous but not dominant on the fresh and bright aromas of both red and dark pinot fruit that is cut with hints of anise and earth. There is excellent punch to the saline-inflected flavors that are also quite firmly structured though perhaps a bit less austere on the impressively long finale. Patience.
