The 2023 Savigny-lès-Beaune Les Serpentières 1er Cru has an understated bouquet with brambly red fruit and commendable purity, not intense but graceful. The palate is medium-bodied with gentle grip, very well balanced with a slightly peppery finish (though there is no whole bunch here). Very well crafted.
