The 2022 vintage marks the estate’s first officially certified organic release.
The 2023 La Pitaude hails from a steep vineyard affected by fanleaf, which led to tiny berries and just 15 hl/ha. It is intense and almost spicy, with savory and ripe cooked lemon notes, with a touch of bitterness from the small berries. There’s a good fierceness here and a serious, firm style. The 2023 is distinctive and idiosyncratic.
