The 2021 Monts Damnes was tasted as a barrel sample, staying in wood until just before the next harvest and then spending around six months in tank before bottling. It has plentiful concentration perhaps due to the low yields - there was less than half of the usual production due to frost on this I.5ha section of Monts Damnes. It starts off with a full bodied attack before narrowing and tightening its shape as it moves across the mouth, leaving a precise and long finish. The cooler season has imbued a freshness to the aromatic profile reminiscent of violets, citrus and just ripe pineapples .
