A highly energised, mineral-driven expression of Chardonnay. Sourced from biodynamically farmed old vines (planted in 1979) on the steep limestone slopes of the Vergisson Rock, this wine is widely celebrated for delivering a level of tension and depth that rivals premier crus from the Côte d’Or.
Bright, pale lemon with gold reflections. At first reserved or slightly muted, but it quickly unfurls with a distinct chalky minerality and struck-match reduction. It opens into a layered bouquet of fragrant white peach, lemon zest, acacia blossom, and crisp green apple, framed by faint notes of lightly toasted almond, butter, and brioche. Exceptional persistence. The finish is remarkably sapid, focused, and saline, carrying a distinct citrus tang and a subtle hint of ginger spice on the very tail-end
