Here the overtly sauvage-inflected nose reflects notes of pungent iron-infused earth along with both red and dark currant scents that in combination just screams Gevrey. The rich, intense, well-muscled and mineral-driven flavors display remarkably good delineation along with overt power on the explosively long, serious and very firmly structured finish. Serafin builds his Cazetiers to last for years and the 2015 version should have no trouble doing just that.
