A blend of Chardonnay from Aÿ and the Montage de Reims, there is aromas of citrus oil, fresh pear and linden blossom. On the palate, the wine is medium to full-bodied, vinous and satiny mtextured, with a delicate mousse, ripe but racy acids and a saline finish. Charming and structurally open-knit, it's already drinking well.

Rich, ample and creamy, the Hommage is so expressive today. 100% Pinot Noir done in an unusual style that sees eleven months in oak followed by six months in tank, an approach that is much more common for white Burgundy. Red plum, kirsch, mint, chamomile and spice melding together effortlessly, the Hommage is rich and generous, but is also light on its feet. Disgorged: September 21, 2020.

The latest release of Giraud's NV Brut Rosé Dame-Jane is showing very well, unfurling from the glass with complex aromas of red plums, cinnamon, orange zest, warm bran and smoke. On the palate, it's full-bodied, broad and textural, with all the house's signature vinosity, displaying superb depth at the core, ripe but racy acids and beautiful balance despite its muscular, textural style, concluding with a sapid finish.

With this, Sébastien Le Golvet - master of time as well as the cellar - introduces amazing energy to a great white wine and opens up a whole new dimension: one in which space and time are suspended, and in which complexity, fruit, and spirituality intertwine with shimmering wreaths of orange blossom shot through with flashes of chalk and bitter minerality.

Forged from the influence of the Argonne Forest, crafted from the finest terroir in Aÿ and vinified for 12 months in oak barrels, the newly released MV17 is harmoniously composed of 70% Pinot Noir and 30% Chardonnay. This iconic cuvée bears the all the hallmarks of the domaine's commitment to perpetuate "the excellence of the great wines of Champagne".

Domaine Henri Giraud has relied on time to develop its Ratafia. Patiently, the fruitiest juices from the best years from 1990 to 2016 were blended with Fine Champenoise and aged in small oak barrels in Solera. This alchemy discovered in the 13th century lets us taste today the caress of these magnificently transcended into soft and smooth Champagne grape juices. Its warm robe, amber with pretty copper reflections, almost red, evokes maturity and elegance.
