Description

Juyondai, Morohaku Gokujo Junmai Daiginjo NV 十四代極上诸白(小龍泉)纯米大吟酿

One of the rarest and most refined expressions in Juyondai’s prestigious lineup. Crafted with extreme precision from the highest-grade Yamadanishiki and Aiyama rice, this Junmai Daiginjo offers a remarkably elegant and balanced drinking experience.

On the nose, it reveals delicate yet vibrant aromatics of melon, white peach, and apple blossom, layered with subtle hints of citrus zest and fresh-cut grass. The palate is clean and silky, unfolding soft umami notes with gentle sweetness and a faint minerality. Despite its plush texture, it maintains a crisp, refreshing finish that lingers gracefully.

This sake exemplifies the essence of “morohaku” — a style where both koji rice and kakemai (steamed rice added during brewing) are polished to the same high degree, maximizing purity and finesse.

A collector’s bottle and a connoisseur’s pour, Juyondai Morohaku Gokujo is best enjoyed slightly chilled in a white wine or tulip-shaped glass to allow its full bouquet to blossom.

Wine, for the most part, is a peculiar beverage and everything form the way the bottle is stored, to the way its opened; the way the cork is pulled, the decanter thats used and the glass its served in, can have an immense effect on the outcome.
