Description

Juyondai, Ryugetsu Junmai Daiginjo NV 1800ML

十四代龍月純米大吟醸

Juyondai Ryugetsu (龙月) is an ultra-premium Junmai Daiginjo from the legendary Takagi Shuzo in Yamagata Prefecture. Ranking just below the flagship 'Ryusen' in rarity, it is produced using the meticulous Shichisui Nijukkan (seven drops from twenty kwan) method, where sake is collected naturally through gravity-fed drips without mechanical pressure.

A refined bouquet of white peachripe pear, and crisp apple. Floral scents of jasmine and honeysuckle with a subtle mineral undertone. Unlike the typical "ripe melon" punch of other Juyondai sakes, Ryugetsu is more restrained and elegant. Exceptionally smooth and velvety texture that coats the palate without any harshness or bitterness.
