Juyondai, Soko Daiginjo 十四代双虹大吟釀
Juyondai Soko (双虹, meaning "Twin Rainbows") is a flagship Daiginjo from Takagi Shuzo, often regarded as one of the most prestigious and technically precise sakes in the world. Named after the rare phenomenon of a double rainbow—symbolising 14 colours to match the brewery's name—it is a limited release typically launched only once a year.
A masterpiece of elegance, defined by a vibrant and perfumed nose of white peach, ripe melon, and blooming apple blossoms. On the palate, it delivers a seamless, silky mouthfeel that feels almost weightless, unfolding with layered flavors of crisp Muscat grapes and sweet pear. The hallmark of this sake is its pristine clarity and perfect balance, where a gentle rice umami is uplifted by a subtle, refreshing acidity.
