The 2022 Chablis Village comes from 60-year-old vines with a 10-month élevage. It has quite a feisty pineapple and lemon thyme-scented bouquet that gains intensity with aeration. The palate is well-balanced with a smooth, slightly honeyed entry and fine acidity, yet it becomes a bit cloying towards the finish. Not bad, yet it is not a wine I would cellar long-term.
