Yamazaki 18 Year Old is a world-renowned single malt whisky, often considered the pinnacle of the core Yamazaki range.

Deep amber color with a complex bouquet of raisin, apricot, café au lait, and the distinctive sandalwood scent of Mizunara. Thick and viscous with layers of blackberry, strawberry jam, and rich dark chocolate.  Long, smooth, and spicy, with lingering notes of clove, cinnamon, and a hint of smoke

It was named the best overall spirit across all categories at the 2025 ISC. This marked the third consecutive year a Yamazaki expression won the top prize (following the 25-year-old in 2023 and the 12-year-old in 2024), a first in the competition's 30-year history.

The ISC has recognised the House of Suntory with the “Distiller of the Year” award on five occasions: 2010, 2012, 2013, 2014, and 2021. In addition, it has been the only winner of the “Producer of the Year” — Japanese Whisky award from the ISC since its creation in 2020, and Shinji Fukuyo, Chief Blender of Suntory, was awarded in 2024 as “Master Blender of the Year”. This international acclaim extends to the home of Suntory’s white spirits, with Suntory Osaka Distillery winning producer of the year at the IWSC Awards in 2025.

This product meets the standards set out by the Japan Spirits & Liqueurs Makers Association for labeling Japanese Whisky.
